Projects, Past and Present

Since 2020, I have worked on over 50 books for various authors.

One notable example would be the translation of “Levon’s Trade” by Chuck Dixon;
the book that was adapted into the movie
“A Working Man” with Jason Statham as the lead character.
I also worked on the following three books in the series; Levon’s Night, Levon’s Ride and Levon’s Run

Other authors I have and had the pleasure of working with:

Cindy Bell: The Lakeside Cottage Mysteries, books 1-4, ongoing

Steve Higgs: The Patricia Fisher cosy mysteries; entire series, ongoing

Rachel McLean: The DI Zoe Finch series; books 2-7 and the Cumbria Crime series (with Joel Hames); book 1-4, ongoing

Franklin Horton: The Borrowed World series; books 2-6, and the Locker Nine series; books 1-3, ongoing

Jack Gatland: The Declan Walsh thriller series; books 1-7

D.D. Black: The Thomas Austin series; books 1-7

Sabine is a wonderful editor who is thorough, reliable, and a pleasure to work with. Her attention to detail is excellent, and I always feel confident that my German editions are in safe hands.

What some of my clients say …

"It is a great pleasure to work with Sabine, she has edited and proofread several of my books with great skill and efficiency, while always staying true to the feel of the story and characters.

Not only does Sabine make sure my books are a pleasure to read in German but she also navigates the sometimes tricky cultural/linguistic differences with aplomb.

I look forward to continuing working with her and recommend her services wholeheartedly."

- Steve Higgs, author of the Patricia Fisher books

"Sabine has been an excellent find for us! She is a consummate professional and an easy communicator. Trying to break our fiction novel into the German market was full of challenges but Sabine was genuinely friendly and clear about the contract, timings and final delivery.

Her suggestions on the novel and its titling and cover went far beyond acting as a proof-reader and she entered into the launch in more of a true partnership with us than anything else. We are going to be working with her again and will be delighted to do so.  (Oh, also, she’s lovely.)"

- R.L.Giddings author of Eve of War

“Sabine has edited my novel a month ago. Since then, I’ve been carefully checking the reviews. Four weeks later, I haven’t gotten a single bad review, whereas before, people often complained about grammatical errors. Sabine has made me feel more confident about my work. Thanks to her, readers can fully focus on the story and not on typos or poor wording. She also worked faster than expected. I’m really looking forward to work with her again.”

- Zelda French, author of "I Want to Kiss You in Public"

"Sabine offers a speedy and professional service. Although my project was relatively small she was great at communication: explaining what services she offers, the process and pricing, (which was very reasonable). The work was delivered on time and in a format which was clear and easy to follow. She also made some helpful suggestions which improved the final product. I can highly recommend her."
